The Emergency Access Initiative (EAI) is currently available for those impacted by the event and those providing healthcare assistance to the affected populations.

The Emergency Access Initiative provides temporary free access to full text articles from major biomedicine titles to healthcare professionals, librarians, and the public affected by disasters. Access to biomedical literature through the Emergency Access Initiative is only available to those whose normal access to biomedical literature has been affected by the specified disaster and for those providing healthcare assistance to the affected population.

If you are outside the affected area, but are providing healthcare assistance and would like to request access, please contact the National Library of Medicine to describe your participation in relief efforts and how the articles would be used. You must identify yourself, your organization, your IP address and provide contact information.
